NO PRICE INCREASE ON CONTOUR MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS!
I am delighted to advise you that we will not be increasing our prices on our manufactured products at the start of 2012.
Over the last year, as a proud British manufacturer, we have been working extremely hard to control and manage our costs in order to be able to do our bit to respond to these challenging times. We have successfully completed a range of projects to improve our internal efficiencies and to control our cost base and we will continue to strive to keep our costs down. Unlike many of our competitors we still source almost all of our materials locally and assemble all our manufactured products in the UK. This has enabled us to remain flexible and responsive to our customer’s needs without adding to our costs.
While we have direct control over the costs of our manufactured products, unfortunately we cannot control the costs of our factored products. Therefore where we incur cost increases on factored products, Showers / Pumps / Curtains / Rails etc, we will pass these increases on, but, again, we will be working with our suppliers to delay and minimise any such price increases, and will notify you ahead of time.
In addition, for many years we have automatically included the anti-bacterial protection of Microban® in our shower trays at no extra charge. With effect from 1st February 2012, the Microban® coating will become an optional extra at a nominal charge of £10 plus VAT per tray. Please do request Microban® to be applied as appropriate when ordering your trays.

Contour supports new disabled living centre
Contour Showers, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of easy access showering solutions for the elderly and less able has recently donated a variety of showering equipment including an Eco-dec® floor former, set of half height shower screens and a Duo shower seat, to show our support to the Disabled Living Centre at Cobham Community Centre for Elmbridge Borough Council.
The showering equipment was installed on their behalf by Caring Solutions Limited, who also kindly donated their time as well as products from their own range.
The recent launch for the Disabled Living Centre was attended by local dignitaries including the Mayor of Elmbridge Borough Council.

Each Eco-dec® has a pre-formed top surface that eliminates the need to screed falls in the floor to the waste. Eco-dec® avoids this inconvenience, the pre-formed gradient helps to create the perfect wetroom and if used with a waterproof tanking membrane, will result in a modern tiled wetroom showering space.
Eco-dec® is a truly sustainable product. Not only is it made from over 90% recycled plastic materials, it can be 100% recycled and remade into another Eco-dec.

FRAMELESS GLASS SCREENS FOR A MODERN WALK-IN EASY ACCESS SHOWER
Using a frameless glass screen with a walk-in wetroom or an easy access shower tray will add a feeling of space and openness, giving you a luxurious and minimalist walk-in shower experience that’s perfectly practical and suitable for any modern bathroom.
This style of glass screen can be installed directly onto most Contour easy access shower trays which have a flat top perimeter. Alternatively, they can be combined with a tiled wetroom for the true walk-in feel.
Glass screens are ideal for use with a level access shower or Eco-dec® wetroom as they provide a barrier free, door-less, walk-in shower that is easy to access for both the elderly and those with limited mobility.
Contour frameless glass screens are 1950mm high and feature 6mm toughened glass which comes in 700mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1100mm and 1200mm width options and completes the modern minimal appearance. The Glass screens are fully reversible for left or right hand installations.
