Captive Curtain System

The captive curtain system provides the user with confidence of the curtain staying in place. By adding a seam to one edge of the curtain it can be locked into position keeping all over sprayed water inside the showering area.

This can be especially advantageous in high use situations where the showering facilities are used a number of times per day.
When drawing the shower curtain the remaining end tends to follow in the same direction as the user is pulling, leaving a potential gap for over sprayed water to leak through, see left.

If there is a window or vent that encroaches into the shower area the captive curtain system can be used to secure and overcome the problem.

This practical system still allows the curtain to be removed for washing. Simply slide the curtain out of the captive section and remove the rubber seam insert, see above left.

Using the Captive Curtain system means that you will never be troubled with preventable water leaks via the shower curtain.
