Eco-dec®, the environmentally friendly wetroom floor former

Quick and simple to install, our wide range of environmentally friendly Eco-dec® floor formers enable bathrooms to be used as complete, level access Wet Rooms. Eco-dec® is manufactured in the UK from recycled plastic waste materials resulting in a 100% recycable product.

Contour Eco-dec® floor formers are made from recycled plastic waste materials using the Powder Impresson Moulding (PIM) process. Using recycled products in the manufacture of Eco-dec® is an excellent way of saving energy and conserving the environment.

Eco-dec® contains over 90% recycled plastics from post consumer waste. The life cycle Green House Gas emissions of this product are on average 53.5kg CO2 equivalent per Eco-dec® when it is collected for end of product lfe recycling by the manufacturer. When compared using the same methods, a typical DMC floor former contains 184kg CO2 equivalent.

The product life cycle greenhouse gas emission of Contour Eco-dec® was assessed in conformity with BSi PAS 2050:2008 using methods outlined in BS EN ISO 14021 and is expressed in mass of carbon dioxide equivalent equivalent (CO2e).
