A mixer shower blends hot and cold water supplies together to a desired temperature. Electric showers are connected to the mains cold water with an exclusive, permanent electrical supply. They heat the water as it is used, and as such are the most economical showers to run.
Electric showers are extremely versatile and are suitable for most plumbing systems. A higher power rating (kw) will give a greater flow rate.

Options available include thermostatic temperature control, adjustable temperature control and the ability to link directly with a shower waste pump. Thermostatic control ensures the water temperature will not increase by more than 1°C of the selected temperature.
