Sandmartin, Kingfisher or Kite bath replacement shower trays have the flexibility of being able to be used with either corner entry half height shower doors, front access shower doors or a glass shower screen. 

Set flush into the bathroom floor when fitted and with no height difference between the tray edge and the bathroom floor, this style of level access shower tray provides an unrestricted walk in shower solution for people with restricted mobility or wheelchair users who require a bathroom adaptation with no steps or ramps for the user to negotiate.

Sandmartin, Kingfisher or Kite floor level shower trays have been tested to withstand 42 Stone / 270kg to simulate a standing person.

PRODUCT FEATURES

• Cut to length, level access shower tray showers where a bathtub is no longer practical, for users with mobility difficulties or requiring wheelchair access.

• Sandmartin, Kingfisher or Kite level access bath replacement shower trays are suitable for wooden or solid floor situations. They require floor excavation of approximately 40mm. The void beneath the level access shower tray must be filled with a ‘weak’ sand and cement mix.

• Bath replacement cut to length tray, incorporating drying area, can be cut from its original length of 1850mm to fit exactly between three walls into the space left by a bath. An end plate is supplied to conceal the cut end.

• Anti-slip surface for an assured underfoot grip. Complies with DIN51097 Barefoot Slip Test.

• 18mm tiling lip can accommodate wallboards or wall tiles. Also used to secure the shower tray to the wall.

• Re-designed drying area allowing for an 1850mm corner shower enclosure.

• Service pipe ducting available as an optional accessory to overcome pipework or to make the showering area larger.

• Supplied with McAlpine STW8B-95 gravity waste, flow rate up to 22 l/m. 

• Bath replacement shower trays manufactured using reinforced glass fibre GRP construction to form a strong and consistent shower tray.
